Greetings Beloved GemPowerment Tribe and very Happy Full Moon Blessings for this Blue Moon in Aquarius!! This is the last Blue Moon until 2018 so make it a good one! To help you do that I am bringing you Guidance directly from the Grand Planetary Stone Council on the priority Gemstone Allies for these energies. This gemstone combination is good through the Lion’s Gate on 8-8-2015 (8) and continuing to the New Moon on August 14th.
There is just *SO* much going on with the cosmic energies, it’s just hard to know where to start, so let’s get some basics down and we’ll go from there. A quick reminder that I’m not an astrologer, so I encourage you to seek out other sources if you desire/require more information. This is already an intense energy for me as a sensitive empath, with a major, late-Leo birthday coming up (and my Ascendant in Scorpio and Moon in Cancer) I’m summoning my strength to write this post because I feel how important these energies are and the immense transformational potential that exists. Once again the Mineral Kingdom is offering its assistance to help keep us in an optimal vibration to handle these energies.
Full Moons are always about reconciling the disparate aspects of the two signs for transmutation and transformation. Sun in Leo opposes Moon in Aquarius, occurring at 3:43 Pacific time. So we have the Sun of our own solar system at home in its sign of Leo which is about optimism, loyalty, generosity, love of humanity, benevolent leadership, and shining one’s personal light out into the world. In a lower vibration Leo traits can turn to egoism, arrogance, and grudge-holding. This is directly opposed with Aquarius – the sign of enlightenment, inspiration and insight, and all things galactic – like Milky Way or bigger. This sign can also be stubborn, rebellious, emotionally distant, and impulsive. We now have literally a once-in-a-Blue-Moon chance of figuring out how we can engage and optimize these characteristics. I believe whatever we come up with has to be about finding what makes a person shine like the sun while applying it in a way where everybody involves benefits and the world becomes a better place because of it. Once we entrain to the higher vibration it is challenging to go back – so let’s make it a wave of potentiality on this Blue Moon! That’s the way energy works in the New Paradigm, so for all you “what’s-in-it-for-me” types, fair warning. We must now step fully into our Divinity, individually and collectively to create what comes next.
Adding even more spice to this mix is Venus going retrograde back into Leo which will focus on close, especially romantic, relationships. This may collide with the needs of the above-described conundrum. We cannot be in any relationship, shining our Love and Light out into the world as it is so needed right now, that dims our Light or does not allow us to be who we need to be moving forward. In the first week of August Mercury and Jupiter are also in Leo, so we may concoct some grandiose schemes and/or have delusions of grandeur, while being tempted to tell everybody about it. I say let your freak flag fly! Consider an idea that you would normally dismiss outright or do something old in a new way like using the opposite dominant hand all day for a new perspective. This is OK, for the square with Saturn in Scorpio puts on the brakes to re-examine our action plan before making anything real. Personally I would not commit to anything long-term during this two-week time frame because things are just too much in flux. However, talking about it with all your friends and creating a few plans with various options, especially over drinks or at a party, is made-to-order for this time.
Guidance has offered us a combination with the beautiful gemstone Heliodor. Heliodor [Be3Al2(SiO3)6] is the golden yellow variety of the Beryl family, where some of the Aluminum has been replaced with Iron. It’s pretty hardy at a 7.5 to 8 on the Moh’s Scale and is found in many locations around the world. The name is Greek for “Gift of the Sun.” This Fire element stone is intensely activating to the Solar Plexus chakra, which is the center of personal power and conscious creation, and brings that golden energy up through the Heart Chakra to express with love. This stone is about leadership and self-responsibility. This gemstone can help improve clarity of thought and increase intellectual capacity as well, Because of the hexagonal matrix of the Beryl family, however, it creates a merkaba vortex through its sacred geometry, making it a high-vibration stone. Thus is invokes the Golden Ray and what some people have called the “Christ Consciousness” or the Light of the Grand Central Sun to others. This gemstone can assist one to focus on personal empowerment and co-creation with the Divine by helping to tap into the limitless abundance of the Universe through our Solar Plexus and Heart Chakras. Well, kids…this is perfect to keep our energies in alignment with the high vibration aspects for our Sun in Leo of this Full Moon!
Sardonyx is a beautifully banded variety of Chalcedony, which is a micro-crystalline variety of Quartz (SiO2) at a 7 on the Moh’s Scale. Impurities in the matrix – Iron in the case of the Red/Orange type of Sardonyx – cause the color change. The banding comes from alternate cooling and heating of layers where the denser minerals fall and collect in one layer. Sardonyx is well-known for fostering improvements and integrity in romantic relationships when a couple is living together as it physically represents two vibrations existing in harmony. It is said to attract good fortune as well as more friends. Interestingly it is an alternate birth stone for Leo and historically has been used in many carvings to feature the banding. It is a highly protective stone and can be used to grid your home to ward off intruders of the human or critter varieties. Sardonyx is a stone of virtue in action and words and opens the lower chakras for solid grounding to help absorb and integrate energies. We will appreciate the steady hand offered by Sardonyx in the next two weeks as we question our most closely-held Truths and relationships and whet down what will serve us going forward.
This combination keeps us focused on the positive during this process, as relationships, people, places, physical objects, and anything else in our lives becomes questioned. These literally are touchstones for us when emotions get intense or clouded. Guidance recommends keeping these stones on your person all day in your pocket, in jewelry, or in a medicine pouch every day for the next two weeks, letting then rest at night on your night table. Even better if you can charge them at the Full Moon meaning prior to the moon setting on the morning of 7/31/15 or in the moon rise if you are in that part of the world. If you don’t have these stones, take a clear Quartz and ask the Deva of Heliodor and Sardonyx to please program the Quartz with these energies (with permission of the Quartz, of course). Remember to clear the stones after you are done with them!
