Greetings my Sparkly and Beloved GemPeople, and welcome to this Super Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius! According to NASA it will appear larger (by about 14%) because it actually IS closer to Earth, and it will be about 30% brighter. GO with it!
For those who have been following along, this is the third eclipse within the last month. The first occurred on April 25th with the full moon in Scorpio and we were asked to look at our deepest and most paralyzing emotional traumas and prepare to release them. Then with the Solar eclipse in the new moon in Taurus at the beginning of May, we had an opportunity to look at what was causing addiction and physical challenges for us and deeply probe the root causes of those. Now we are offered with the full moon eclipse in Sag a chance to do the last of our releasing of anything and everything that occludes our ability to be the whole Be-ing we are meant to be on all levels: happily unified and co-creating our unique Divine Blueprint. This a time of smoothing the rough edges of the final letting-go and celebrating the “me yet to come” like the song…it’s time for each of us to be like that and shine in all our magnificence!
Unakite will be our host for these festivities from now and for the next 18 years of transformation that is starting today! Most of you know Unakite as a Heart Chakra stone for emotional release. It is composed of the “blending together” of a Peach Feldspar (the pink part) with Epidote into one stone. If any of you have ever worked cabachons of this stone, you’ll know that it is surprisingly challenging (registers 6-7 on the Moh’s) because it will work just fine and then you’ll hit a rough spot. This is how we are to work with our PEMS issues (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) to smooth things out and integrate. Unakite provides balancing energies for self-healing and helps uncover the root of a problem to gently release blockages. It is a stone of balance and of re-birth. Perfect! But…Spirit always is! ♥
Today is the day to charge up your Unakite with the energies of the Full Moon Eclipse. Take any piece of raw, tumbled, or other Unakite, even in jewelry, and program it with this intention of gentle release and integration on all levels, in your own words or understanding. Then, place it outside for the next 24 hours. Make sure it gets some sunlight and some moonlight. You will have it for the next 18 years (or as long as you deem necessary) as a touchstone or to use or wear any time you are experiencing a rough spot. You can clean it with sage smoke or by burying it or placing in or near a plant, but don’t use salt on this piece as you will ruin the Full Moon programming. The Deva of Unakite says, “This is a time of spiritual transformation on the planet and therefore each person shall be empowered to bring forth any pain/trauma/suffering which has been holding him/her back from true transformation. I assist Humanity to discover this gently and ease the process.”
