Greetings GemPowerment Family! Many of us, myself included, are experiencing pain…physical, mental, emotional, spiritual…now and in the recent past coming from the vibrational shifts we and our Mother Earth have been experiencing. This has made it more difficult to be clear on how we need to proceed and it may be that we are finding ourselves just trying to make it day-to-day, moment-to-moment. Much of this has also been influenced by Pluto going retrograde on 4/10/12, so we are being painted into a corner of sorts, to confront whatever is repressed or hidden that is causing us that pain, fear, phobias, compulsions, addictions, and suffering. It sounds like a bad novel or a teenage angst movie…which would be funny except it’s happening to us! So, Universe, what up?
Guidance has offered Iolite as an assistant during this challenging time. Ancient Viking seafarers used lenses of Iolite to show them the hidden Sun so they could navigate through fog, mist, and rain. We need a Mineral Ally that can change with us, can help us flow through our emotional turmoil, and can connect us to our highest Vision so we always have a beacon to find and connect when things get dark. Iolite of course is one of the quintessential 3rd Eye/Brow Chakra stones; allowing communications with our Highest Selves and our sacred God-Presence to bring through our Guidance and inspirational vision. However, due to its intense pleochroism, Iolite’s deep Indigo color can shift with the light to show us Gold, Clear, Brown, or variations. It is a reminder to ask ourselves, “What is it about this situation I am missing?” or to look at things with another perspective or in “a different light”, realizing it’s all the same.
Another interesting thing about Iolite is its tendency to gently balance energies in the subtle bodies, i.e. yin/yang, positively charged/negatively charged. This makes it easier to make more balanced choices that will support more overall health and harmony until it is possible to resonate with the higher vibrations of the Self. That makes it easier to attract more of the same and we observe and experience an upward spiral. In this exercise we cannot hide any longer from the Truth that we create our Reality, so we must ultimately take full responsibility for all the pain, suffering, etc. knowing that we can change this if we desire and start thinking, acting, doing, and creating differently. Hey peeps…it’s Pluto retrograde, remember? What we resist, persists! We don’t have to do this alone, however! We get to ask for help – from friends, from family, from Guidance, from the Universe! And, we can accept assistance from this beautiful Mineral Ally, Iolite!
