Greeting my Beloved GemPeople! Happy Full Moon and Valentine’s Day!
The first thing you’re probably thinking armed only with the above information is, “It’s all about ME!” This is actually true, but you may not necessarily like it. Let us not forget that, while we may be tempted to roar in the spotlight during this Full Moon, we will need to take care not to step on our own tails in the process. Let’s not forget that we’ve still got Saturn in Scorpio (where it’s been for quite some time) and the bright light of the Full Moon will illuminate everything about us: the good, the bad, and the ugly. You might want to prepare for making a fool of yourself while trying to passionately express your creative desires. And that’s OK. The purpose is to love ourselves and each other anyway! With the Sun in Aquarius we have some leeway to use our imagination and desire to do something truly new. Make sure you are practiced at what you preach, are keeping one foot on the ground, and ask yourself if what you are creating serves in integrity with the Highest Good for all. And, if we can do this, we will be rewarded.
Which brings me to our Gemstone Ally for this energetic portal of the Full Moon. Tsavorite (Ca3Al2Si3O12 ) is a green variety of the Garnet family, colored so due to inclusions of Cromium and sometimes Vanadium. It’s a rarer form of Garnet, and generally forms only small crystals vs. some of its related stones. Tsavorite is almost always natural since the color generally needs no enhancement. Tsavorite is a Heart Chakra stone, but is also activating to the thymus gland for improved immunity. Tsavorite is also thought as being helpful with strengthening bones and teeth, which is good when you need your spine to support you in all these new endeavors. This makes a beautiful combination with the Solar Plexus activation of the Leonine energies with the Full Moon.
