Greetings my Beloved GemPowerment Family! Here’s wishing you many Full Moon Blessings! We have our Full Moon in earthy, fixed Taurus occurring at 2:24 pm US/Pacific Time, with the Sun in intense, watery Scorpio. We have the sign of Life, Sensuality, and Growth on one hand, and the sign of Death, Introversion, and Transmutation on the other. This is a perfect juxtaposition of energies, much like the yin/yang symbol, where one is contained within the other, thus creating a dynamic flow of energies. This, in addition to the many helpful trines, squares, etc. with Pluto, Venus, etc. make this the perfect time to explore that boundary. What is the one thing in the Universe that transcends both of these? Love. Without Universal Love our boundaries between the two become unclear, mix, and then what do you get? Mud.
Guidance is offering us the beautiful Heart Center stone Chrome Diopside to optimize these energies as we contemplate the deepest Desires of our Hearts in this Full Moon in Taurus time. This is the center we come back to when we need to connect with our Soul’s calling and divine the most Truthful answers about what makes us live and be in-joy with every breath, vs. the deepest fears or obstacles that keep us from attaining them. What are the practicalities vs. the fantasies for us? How do our physical and emotional desires vie for fulfillment and how can we bring them into balance for a win/win?
Chrome Diopside is one of the few naturally green gemmy stones, meaning it can be found in transparent form and is generally eye-clean. Chemically, it is a Calcium Magnesium Silicate (CaMgSi2O6) at about a 5 or 6 on the Moh’s Scale of hardness with the Chromium thrown in to produce the green color. Others we know are Emerald, Tsavorite Garnet, and Green Tourmaline, but this variety of Diopside is generally a bit cheaper than these other stones. The cabochon cut of an opaque stone shows beautiful asterism. These stones are usually only found in smaller carat sizes as the stones tend to get darker as they get bigger due to reduced light refraction inside the stone.
Chrome Diopside is known to connect one with the Spirit of Gaia, to release emotional traumas from our past, to activate our innate Heart intelligence and our inherent ability to creatively manifest our goals. If you haven’t had a good cry in a while, Chrome Diopside can help bring that forward in a healing way.
