Greetings my Beloved GemPowerment Family! If you are reading this you have an amazing opportunity for change and manifestation with this Full Moon in Libra and Total Lunar Eclipse 4/15/14 (12:42 am PDT/3:42 am EDT)! Of course, so does everybody else on the planet! If we’re here now then we signed up to be a part of this truly cosmic time of shifting.
What we are basically dealing with here is a combination of this Full Moon in Libra, its total eclipse, with the Sun (opposing) in Aries. The same day, Pluto goes retrograde until September. This will be followed by a powerful and rare Cardinal Grand Cross, involving a 4-way stand-off with Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, and Mars. This will be in maximum effect April 20-23. There are even more pieces in the astrological puzzle here that are peppering the mix with their unique flavor. As there are many sources of information for the specifics of all the astrological and astronomical phenomena happening in the cosmos, and correspondingly many interpretations of them as well, I will invite and encourage you to do your research and come up with your own conclusions about what’s right for you. Actually, if you’re so inclined, this would be an excellent time to get an Astrology reading from a trusted source!
Most of you know that the Full Moon is an invitation to explore what we have sown since the New Moon, as well as, engage the energies of the two opposing signs to look for challenges and benefits in our lives. With the Sun in Aries, we have inspiration, action, independence, fire. With the Moon in Libra, we are striving for balance, harmony, and fairness – and usually this is focused in the area of relationship in the sign of the scales. Any Full Moon highlights these areas of conflict for resolution – and will heighten our emotions around them. With the Aries influence, we are being asked to look at our relationship with ourselves and to determine what it is we really want and what doesn’t work for us any more. What makes our hearts sing? What inspires us to passion and action? If you’re getting up in the morning and you’re bored or feeling unfulfilled, now is a window of opportunity to change this! But you still have to do the work, people! With the Libra energies, it’s time to take a look at our relationships with others and ask how we can find more harmony and working for the common good. And the dynamic challenge is how do we do both successfully and find the balance between the two? Pluto is actually assisting here to focus us inwards and encourages deep speculation on what makes us tick. To prepare for this Full Moon Eclipse energies I recommend putting pen to paper or getting on the computer to bang out lists, desires, intentions, goals, action items, etc. You can then use them in any rituals for this purpose.
Other energies going on that I feel apply to this window of opportunity are 1) the day of the eclipse is a vibration “8” day, and 2) Passover begins that night. The number 8 is an excellent number for manifestation, where we are invited to explore the fulcrum between power and force. Again, as with the Aries/Libra opposition, how can we be in our “power” without abuse, and without taking it from others? This vibration is helpful in resolving disputes as well, which may come in handy if this process leads to conflicts in relationships. It also associated with Silver…perfect! Passover is a celebration of release from bondage and freedom! Growing up with the Jewish tradition, I feel it’s important to honor those energies. Could the Universe underscore this theme any more than it has: time to let go of the old and create the new! How do we keep ourselves from full expression of our optimal selves? What organizations, contracts, agreements, beliefs do we have individually and as a society keep us dysfunctionally in some sort of limitation from creating our BEST of everything? And this time let’s not wander in the desert for 40 years…let’s create our newest, healthiest, and brightest homes/bodies/planet, in all planes of existence NOW!
This being said, I was pleasantly surprised to find Guidance offering a combination of two stones and one metal – the first time this has happened in the history of this blog, or of GemPowerment for a specific astrological configuration, I believe! But it’s understandable with such a confluence of energies and such a dramatic opportunity for change! The GPSC brings forward the combo of Rose Quartz, Optical Clear Calcite (Iceland Spar) and Silver and suggests these can be utilized during the 6-month window from this eclipse through the next total lunar eclipse in October.
The suggested usage is to charge whatever forms of Rose Quartz, Optical Calcite, and Silver during this eclipse and have them available to program with your intention to wear/use/meditate with, etc., for the next 6 months. It would be best to leave out for a full 24 hours if possible, so place them out maybe just before dark tonight and leave them until tomorrow dusk. The message from Guidance for this combination is, “..for getting a clearer picture of your relationship with yourself /Divine IAM presence and Source.” The most optimal form would be both stones in Silver jewelry, although it can be challenging to find Optical Clear Calcite in jewelry because of it’s softness and tendency to fracture. You can split it up, i.e. find Rose Quartz earrings in Silver, and a cube or rhomboid of Optical Clear Calcite to work with. The point is to do whatever works for you. Guidance suggests recharging these pieces at every Full Moon in between this and the October eclipse for maximum energy. It’s best to clean these stones before using them tonight if you can – even if it’s just a meaningful “HA” out-breath with the intention to clear and energize.
Rose Quartz is a stone of unconditional love – for ourselves and for each other. As a Quartz it amplifies energies, and this stone activates the High Heart chakra energies. Optical Clear Calcite is the purest of all the Calcites, and like its other varieties can allow us to penetrate beyond dimensional boundaries to see varying outcomes and to keep our subtle bodies clear of disharmonious energies. Silver is the best of all the metals to amplify and smooth out these energies so they work together with the best harmonic resonance.
Given that we are all vibrating and moving faster and time seems to do so as well, it seems I am being given time periods vs. just a one-or two-day window to work with specific Mineral Allies. For this the 6 month period starting with this eclipse, GPSC also has this message:
“People of Earth – You are given many gifts and now is the time to take your place among the children of the stars and fulfill your destiny. We have been preparing you and the planet to (vibrate/ascend – this feeling I don’t know the exact word) for a long time, and you now have all the tools you need to create this for yourselves.”
Notice how we are no longer “children?” I feel this is very intentional! Time for us to be self-responsible, self-empowered, and start acting/being/doing in alignment with our Highest Selves. It’s up to us, GemPeople!
