Greetings Beloved GemPowerment Family, and Happy Full Moon! Guidance has offered us a very interesting crystal to work with today: Tarnowitzite! This relatively rare form of Aragonite in which some of the Calcium (Ca) has been replaced with Lead (Pb), which really makes it a combination of Aragonite and Cerussite and forms as a white to milky crystal. Tarnowitzite is being brought forward today as it engenders Unity Consciousness between the individual and the collective of Humanity, in its highest form. It is the supreme diplomat of the Mineral Kingdom, facilitating open speech and clear communication of thoughts and ideas between parties who had no prior inclination to agree or cooperate. This crystal has also been known to strengthen the bio-magnetic fields of the body, which is especially useful with all the changes in the Earth’s electro-magnetic field due to planetary shifts and exposure to huge solar flare activity. Thank you for this post. it seems like the entire world should be living with this stone. I love aragonite and cerrusite and this sounds very powerful.
As a jewelry artist my goal is to work with the stones to create energetic mojo that people will wear, and thus tend to have around them, touching them for long periods of time to get the biggest energetic shift. Do you know if this stone is available as beads, or is it stable enough to wire wrap as a pendant?
Not being familiar with this stone, can you think of another stone that would work with this to really help it “ground” into the body….ground isn’t quite the word I’m looking for, but I can’t think of one that works any better right now.

Hi Anna Mariah and thanks for your question. Tarnowitzite sounds so exotic, but remember what it is – clear Aragonite where some of the Ca has been replaced with Pb (lead). And what is Aragonite but a polymorph of Calcite, i.e. calcium carbonate? This is around a 6 on the Mohs scale so you probably could wrap it but I’d be careful handling. I did a little search on “white aragonite” beads for you: http://www.firemountaingems.com/details.asp?PN=H209483CX. Not sure if this is the best place to get such beads i.e quality, but this link is just to show you they are out there!
